Friends and Neighbors:
You may already know that you are in our protection area, but did you know that we are made up of volunteers? We are your friends and neighbors who care enough to help. Not only do we respond to emergency calls, but we must also spend time training, maintaining the equipment and building, and performing the administrative tasks needed to operate this life-saving business.
Although our time is "free," the tools needed to respond to these calls are not. We must perform fund raising events, such as this annual fund drive, to continue to operate. This year one of our major goals is to take delivery of a new rescue truck in late summer or early fall. We are still in need of numerous equipment items for the new truck, not to mention the cost of the truck itself.
As a community, we are asking that you help by doing what you feel is your "fair share." Your donations stay in this community and go to a service that can help benefit your homes and this community. Please take a moment to consider the importance of local fire and rescue protection and send your donation today. Thank You! |
